Our History
RHC was founded in 2013 by President and Principal-in-Charge Jane Li. Located in downtown Seattle, RHC is a full-service firm specializing in structural and civil engineering.

About Our Founder
Jane started working with bridge designs in 1993 and from 1996 to 2006, she worked at the China Airport Construction Corporation (CACC) where she was responsible for the infrastructure designs in China's major airports. During those 10 years, Jane worked on projects that incorporated viaducts, airport taxiway bridges, drainage culverts, utility supports and foundations as well as airport
pavement designs. She also helped initiate the bridge structures group with the CACC.

Jane received her PhD in structural engineering from the University of Washington. Her studies were focused on advanced finite element analysis and the application of image analysis on the research of concrete-steel bond zone behavior. Before founding RHC, Jane practiced consulting at local firms and gained experience working with long-span bridges, cable-stayed bridges, movable bridges, building and bridge mixed structure as well as retaining walls.
